There are times when I am watching trainings or other video content that I speed up the video because I can listen faster than some people talk. I often use an extension or the little gear to be able to speed things up, sometimes as much as 2X. If I an watching in Safari or Chrome, there is no problem. With Brave, once I am a few minutes in, the stream stops. Sometimes it catches up and starts again, sometimes not.
I am on a 2011 Imac running OS 10.13.6, 24 gigs of ram, 3TB HDD. I have plenty of bandwidth, 250MBS +.

Begin streaming a video
Use extension “Video Speed Controller” to increase streaming speed
or use the gear in the corner of the screen to increase speed
Wait
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Stream stops, buffers. Sometimes there is a rotating wheel of sorts in the center of the screen, sometimes not.
Expected result:
Video plays at increased speed up to 2X
Reproduces how often:
At least 60% of the time probably closer to 75%

Additional Information:
If I am streaming the same content with Safari or Chrome, I never have this issue.
