Speaking as an old guard, oldtimer, I am certain that you need either:
- a new (or “in excellent condition but used”) computing device that runs Windows OS 11 Pro
- a mobile computing device that runs “the bank’s app”
I much, much prefer an Apple iPhone in the “mobile computing device” category. Preferring that over an Android device ← Google (snooping) device, in effect.
Re the desktop / laptop Windows OS 11 Pro problem:
“The banks” are more anxious to only hear: “Nobody broke into our systems.” ← That has priority over customers’ old gear, stuff, being left in the wake of the bank’s: “We are making adjustments and new improvements in our hardware, software, privacy and security.”
IMHO, the work of getting to know Windows OS 11 Pro + your chosen computer that can run that Operating System, is better started now, than later . . . unless you decide to use a mobile device’s “bank app” for most of the banking, and otherwise visit the bank for matters that the “bank app” cannot handle.
All the above, is the nice way of saying, The bank is going to cut off access for processes that do not measure up to the executive office expectations. The bank’s tech. group wants to keep their jobs, and though “IT” may have solutions and listen to your arguments and carefully crafted appeals (including screenshots) . . . the “IT” people mostly want to keep their jobs.

A) In a Brave Browser New Window, go to the On exit tab at: brave://settings/clearBrowserData. Make sure that both Cookies and other site data and Site and Shields Settings are DISABLED (Maybe also DISABLE Passwords and other sign-in data ← your option.) Do the same for the Advanced tab, and aso examine the Basic tab.
B) Where Site Permissions Settings are (in 2 Parts):
Part 1
This part assumes, that you are unable to sustain a connection to the website of interest ← the webpages keep reloading, tumbling or some other unstable condition.
In a Brave Browser New Window, go to the following brave://settings/content/siteDetails page:

NOTICE: In that Brave Browser Settings URL address, the following character string may be regarded as a fixed portion of the whole address characters string:

This part assumes, that you are able to at least maintain some kind of stable connection to the website of interest. This part is the process for allowing a JavaScript source, a process that is usually recommended by Brave Support.
IF you are already visiting the bank online, at https://www.chase.com, you can get to that previously mentioned Brave Browser Settings URL address destination by clicking the “tune” icon that is immediately to the left of http in the URL Address field
Click Site settings in the pop-down menu. In the resulting window, you will see in the URL address field, that you are at the previously mentioned Brave Browser Settings URL address destination:

In that Brave Browser window, scroll down to the JavaScript setting and set that to Allow (if not already so).
C) The Other Location Where JavaScript Needs to Be Allowed
In a Brave Browser New Window, go to brave://settings/content/javascript
Scroll down that javascript settings page to Allowed to use javascript and click the Add button
Enter: [*.]chase.com as the site . . . but do not Enable the following: Current Private session only
Click the Add button. (You might discover, that entry has already been made.)
D) BRAVE SHIELDS
In a Brave Browser New Window, visit our example bank website https://www.chase.com/. There, you may, or may not, need to make Site-Specific Brave Shields adjustments. Some banks and financial institutions need the Trackers & Ads setting at: Standard or completely disabled.
TIPS: In general, aka “my philosophy” using Brave Shields, I have more success, with:
- Brave Shields UP
- Either Allow All Cookies or Block 3rd Party Cookies, but NOT Blocking All Cookies
- Allowing JavaScripts from specific sources, but NOT Allowing All JavaScripts
- Trackers & Ads treatment: Aggressive (at first), and then incrementally relaxing that setting
- Fingerprinting (aka footprinting) blocking: Strict (at first), and then incrementally relaxing that setting
