@feraltamer,
Thanks for reaching out.
For your Brave version, you can find this in-browser by going to Menu --> About Brave.
For your OS version, open Spotlight search (cmd + space), type About this mac and hit Enter.
For screenshots, you can use the macOS screenshot tool (or any basic snipping tool) and simply copy/paste the image into the editor directly.
As for the issue itself, I’m seeing the same behavior when I land on the site. I believe the site is trying to set a cookie or a tracker and is being blocked by Shields. However, I was able to get the site to work (note that I do not have an account so I couldn’t login and explore further) by turning Shields off.
Even more interesting (and points towards me being correct about the cause) is that after that, I was able to then turn Shields back on and the site worked without issue. I will inform our web compatibility team about this issue and see if we can get this fixed so that you (and others) do not have to do this. In the interim, can you please:
Visit AAA Texas website
Open the Shields panel (lion icon in the address bar) and turn the main toggle “off”
Note that if the page freezes after turning Shields off but before it can reload, kill the page and revisit the site.
Check and see if you’re able to interact with the site.
If you can, please try turning Shields back “on” and test to see that you can still interact with the site.
@feraltamer,
I also am confused – I assumed that this issue was about the AAA Texas website, which I gave a very thorough explanation of why it is happening, how you can test to confirm my assumptions and how to work around it. Did you try those things and, if so, what were the results?
And as @fanboynz asked, if you are also trying to report an issue with the screenshot software then we’ll need more information on what software that is and what happens when it “doesn’t work”.
You said something about screen shot, and it doesn’t work on Brave. Now, fix the AAA problem, then we’ll fix the screen shot, then you’ll tell me how to get into my bank account, They got a new system, won’t fix their system. How do I get in to my bank? I don’t need this stuff. I’ve got hand surgery coming up, and all you guys can do is tap dance.
Screenshots can be copied and pasted just like text directly into the browser using the built in macOS screen shot/recording tools.
You can take a screenshot and upload it to imgur.com and post the link here – the site will embed the video automatically
You can take a screenshot, save it to your computer, and use the Upload button, seen in the editor (note that I took the screenshot showing this example by using ctrl + c then ctrl + v):
