As for the issue itself, I’m seeing the same behavior when I land on the site. I believe the site is trying to set a cookie or a tracker and is being blocked by Shields. However, I was able to get the site to work (note that I do not have an account so I couldn’t login and explore further) by turning Shields off.
Even more interesting (and points towards me being correct about the cause) is that after that, I was able to then turn Shields back on and the site worked without issue. I will inform our web compatibility team about this issue and see if we can get this fixed so that you (and others) do not have to do this. In the interim, can you please:
- Visit AAA Texas website
- Open the Shields panel (lion icon in the address bar) and turn the main toggle “off”
- Note that if the page freezes after turning Shields off but before it can reload, kill the page and revisit the site.
- Check and see if you’re able to interact with the site.
- If you can, please try turning Shields back “on” and test to see that you can still interact with the site.
Let me know what you find out.
