A website guaranteed to make my Brave installation crash

Home Depot’s website instantly causes my Brave browser to crash.

That’s really all I know. I don’t have any high security settings in place.

Brave 0.22.714
V8 6.6.346.26
rev fa2fbca
Muon 6.0.9
OS Release 4.10.0-38-generic
Update Channel Release
OS Architecture x64
OS Platform Linux
Node.js 7.9.0
Brave Sync v1.4.2
libchromiumcontent 66.0.3359.139

@cowardlylion Could you provide the exact url so that others could test / verify it?

(I had a 100% reliable way of crashing Brave until yesterday when @sriram asked me to rename the old profile away so that Brave would create a new one. But I don’t know where said profile folder is since I haven’t used it under Linux yet. A wild guess would be “~/.brave”. If you know where it is, you could rename it (while brave is not running!) to e.g. “~/brave-old”, then start up brave again and see if it still crashes. If it doesn’t, there is some corruption in the old profile. As it was in mine.)

@cowardlylion, If you run brave from terminal does it capture any crash logs?

@tlaloc77 Linux files are a bit different. If you have installed brave via setup file profile folder will be under ~/.config/brave. If it is a snap package install then the location will be different.
