A folder of Bookmark bar opens very slowly on Linux PC (Brave Release)

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. On Linux PC, create a folder on bookmark bar and add several bookmarks.
  2. Click and open the folder
  3. It opens very slowly. It shows an empty rectangle first and then, start drawing bookmarks.

It happens on my laptop which has a little bit outdated slow CPU, but will not happen on my Desktop with latest high-end CPU.

Expected result:
Should open quickly.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
0.69.135 Chromium: 77.0.3865.120（Official Build） （64 bit）
Additional Information:
OS - Linux mint 19.2 64bit
Laptop spec - Intel® Core™ i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz, 16GB RAM

Is this a problem of Chrome, not Brave?
