7GB Brave file - Don't know what it is, and can I delete it?

Description of the issue:

Brave as a file 7GB in size at the following location on my MacBook Pro:

~/Library/Application Support/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/Default/File System/022/p/00/00000001

Brave says my cache is only 45MB is size. The file hasn’t been modified since February. What is it, and is it safe for me to just delete it?
