2FA verification problem

I brought new phone yesterday and I cannot log in Brave Payments, it’s about two-step verification. I was try to added my account details on Google Authenticator but it wasn’t work. I need to set up authenticator app again please help me, thank you.

Hi @chiwin,

You need to get the 2FA code from the number that you registered before. It you have no access to that, then likely your account will be locked for now. At least until the team implement the recovery option.

Hello,

If you have lost access to your 2FA authentication method for Brave Payments, you will not be able to log back into your account at any time.

However, you can transfer your previous channels (along with their respective balances) into a new Payments account.

Simply open a new Payments account under a new email address and re-add your old channels (follow the same steps you did to set them up in the first place). Your channels will transfer to your new account within 10 days.

Keep in mind that you will also have to re-register with our referral program and your referral link will also have to be regenerated.
