I gave Leo a try and even paid for a month, but I canceled. The biggest problem is the inability to paste YouTube transcripts—2,000 characters simply isn’t enough space. Is there a way to paste full transcripts or have the AI read them directly?
@CupACoffee you can usually just ask it to summarize the page and it will read through the transcript itself. Here, I’ve gone to a video about Magic the Gathering, and asked it to summarize the page:
You can also try asking it to read the transcript specifically.
Thanks for the reply. I don’t have Premium right now, so I’m not sure if what I see below is due to the lack of Premium or just a limitation of Leo.
Here are the timestamps for the video transcript:
- 00:00 - Introduction and context
- 00:35 - Saskatchewan Roughriders hire Andrew Harris as running backs coach
- 01:18 - Discussion on Harris’ potential impact on AJ Ouellette’s performance
- 02:27 - Harris’ role in player evaluation and future goals
- 03:38 - Cory Mace’s thoughts on AJ Ouellette’s struggles
- 04:38 - Comparison between Harris’ and Brady Oliva’s in-season lifting habits
- 05:43 - Coaching situation in Winnipeg
- 06:46 - Harris’ past issues in Winnipeg and potential concerns
- 08:00 - Conclusion and expectations for Harris at the Saskatchewan Roughriders
The page is too long for Leo. Some context could be missing from the conversation. Leo was able to read 10% of the page’s contents.
The video is 1 hour and 25 minutes long, but Leo only provided timestamps for about 8 minutes.
Now I’m getting this inaccurate response:
I apologize for the confusion. Upon reviewing the conversation, I realize that I did not provide any actual timestamps in the first response. I provided a text summary, but it did not contain any time stamps. I apologize for any misunderstanding.
@CupACoffee apologies, I should have asked which model you were using initially. For me, the Mixtral AI
model appears to generate the best results with this kind of task, so the model being used. Which model are you using when you attempt to do this?
I believe it was Mixtral. When I tried Claude 3, it didn’t work at all.
Is a 1 hour and 25 minute transcript beyond Leo’s capacity, regardless of model?
@CupACoffee,
I’m assuming you’re using the free version of Leo, is that correct? If so, at this time it looks like the panel will only accept up to 2,000 characters but I believe this will be removed and/or increased in future releases.
Additionally, there is a 4,000 limit on context submitted with the prompt — so this may be the issue with time stamping the transcript. Can you share the exact link to the video in which you’re using to test this with so I can test on my end as well?
Yes, I canceled the paid version, as I mentioned in my initial message.
This should be the correct video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eq_vj2sz2Y.
I won’t be switching back to Leo until the character limit is significantly increased beyond 2,000.
