2 Sites won't load up

I have recently logged into my Adobe account on the brave browser and I went into the settings on my Brave shield and switched it from blocking just third party cookies to all cookies and it logged me out of my account. So I switched it back to block just third party cookies and when I try logging into my account it tries to log me in, but it then brings me back to the login. I am having a similar issue when I log into my Verizon account. When I log into my Verizon account, the site constantly refreshes over and over again to the point I can’t do anything. I did try talking to customer support on Adobe and they said to contact the Brave browser support. Please let me know if you can help me. Thank you!

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. By changing the shield settings from blocking only third party cookies to all cookies

Expected result:
Have the websites running like normal again

So that you are prepared for subsequent steps. Be sure to place your backups in a safe location - on an external USB drive, for example. You might also create a specific location on your Windows OS machine, for such backups . . . something like a folder:

C:\BraveBrwsrBkups

That directory (folder) is easy to create and to locate, and also out of the paths of Brave Browser installation parts/pieces.

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to:

Scroll down that javascript settings page to Allowed to use javascript

Click the Add button

Enter [*.]verizon.com as the site . . . but do not Enable the following:

  • Current Private session only

Click the Add button

Repeat for:

  • [*.]adobe.com
  • [*.]adobe.io
  • [*.]adobeccstatic.com
  • [*.]adobedtm.com
  • [*.]adobelogin.com
  • [*.]verizonwireless.com
  • [*.]vzw.com

Tips regarding Brave Shields:

I have more success, with:

  • Brave Shields UP
  • Either Allow All Cookies or Block 3rd Party Cookies, but NOT Blocking All Cookies
  • Allowing JavaScripts from specific sources, but NOT Allowing All JavaScripts
  • Trackers & Ads treatment: Aggressive (at first), and then incrementally relaxing that setting
  • Fingerprinting (aka footprinting) blocking: Strict (at first), and then incrementally relaxing that setting

I almost NEVER use:

  • All of Brave Shields UP
  • All of Brave Shields DOWN

In other words, I “inch my way along” . . . trying to find what satisfies the website. I recommend the slow approach.
