2 questions about brave ads

hello everyone, I am new to brave so I have 2 questions:

  1. Do I receive ads in private window?
  2. Will I receive ads from other regions? (for example I live in country X, will I get ads from country Y?)
    I will be grateful for answers🙂

You should be able to still see ads using private tabs. I have at least. As for getting other countries ads, I am not sure.

To answer your questions:

  1. No, you do not see ads while using Private browsing windows.
  2. No, you will not see ads from other regions when Ads are enabled.

But I tested It and as HighPriestess42 said, I saw few ads in private window

I have not used private window with tor in a while, but @Mattches said you should not get ads while using private windows, so I am a little curious, is this supposed to generate ads or is it not supposed to? Just wondering Mattches if you know. I guess the other question would be, does private window not show ads, but the private window with tor does show ads?

Nether will show ads. However, if you have a standard browsing tab/window open at the same time as your private tab, you’re likely seeing ads appear for your normal browsing window.
